Artificial Intelligence introducing... Cleanvoice

In our latest post, we’re introducing Cleanvoice, a podcasting tool that will help you choose a name for your podcast, amongst other things.

What is Cleanvoice?

Cleanvoice is a dedicated editing tool for podcasts and includes various free features, including an AI podcast name generator (which is what I used it for).

How does it work?

Cleanvoice is a podcast editing tool that helps clean up the audio recording by removing filler sounds, stuttering, and mouth sounds – helping your recording sound clear, articulate, and professional.

Cleanvoice focuses on removing the sounds from your speech you’d rather your listeners didn’t hear. It also has transcriptions, mixing, and integration options. The main way I used this tool was to test out the podcast name generator which is one of several free tools available on the site.

When can businesses benefit from adopting AI tools like Cleanvoice?

Podcasters are the obvious beneficiaries of this rather specific tool. The removal of sounds such as umms and aahs from the recording, along with pauses or background noise, can instantly turn a homespun podcast into something that sounds much slicker and professional.

With an increasing number of podcasts being created by businesses for their teams as well as their customers, there seems like there would be a wide-ranging group of non-professional speakers (like myself) who’d grow in confidence knowing that their audio can be polished up.

Who can use Cleanvoice?

Anyone who’s looking for specific editing support for their podcast or those of us using one of their free tools for budget-busting support.

Is Cleanvoice free?

Yes, there are a number of free tools, such as the podcast name generator, which I used.

There are a few different options depending on your budget, but the two main ways to pay are pay-as-you-go and subscription. Both start at €10 and increase from there depending on the type of plan and features you need.

Pros of Cleanvoice:

  • Speeds up ideas generation

  • Becomes an AI collaborator when trying out new ideas

  • Shows you whether the web domain is available

Cons of Cleanvoice:

  • Mixed results and can sometimes misinterpret what you ask of it

  • For the name generator, there is free access. Other functionality of the tools has a cost

  • Doesn’t tell you if someone else is already using the name it suggests

Does Cleanvoice have competition?

Yes, there’s many alternatives to Cleanvoice. Some do everything Cleanvoice does, others specialise in a part of what Cleanvoice does. Some examples of transcription AI are shown below.

  • Riverside AI: Riverside AI is another tool that has a free podcast name generator as a free feature with other paid editing options available.

  • Welder: Welder is a live streaming tool with a podcast name generator also available for free.

These are just a few of the many competitors or alternative AI tools to Cleanvoice. The best tool for you will depend on your specific needs and budget.

Final thoughts… overall, Cleanvoice AI helped me when I was brainstorming for podcast names, though I have to say it was sharing ideas with my Mum that really proved the most effective and powerful tool. Podcast name generators are a good way of getting your succinct thoughts about what the podcast is about into a short prompt. They can act as a help to get the ball rolling with ideas or help if you’re stuck and as many are free it’s a good way to engage with a new AI capability.

I used Cleanvoice and a few other tools to help me come up with a name for my podcast (more on that soon) and it did help with coming up with some new ideas but it didn’t give me the name I eventually chose.
